Deleting a Department
When you delete a department in Manifestly, the department is removed along with all of its workflows and any runs created from those workflows.
Before you delete
If you want to keep any of the workflows in the department, move them to another department first. From the Workflows list, open each workflow, go to Settings, and change the department.
Team memberships are not deleted. Users who only belonged to the deleted department stay on the master account but lose access to that department's content.
How to delete a department
- From the workflows list page, click the Other button and choose Manage departments.
- Find the department you want to delete and click Delete.
- Review the warning. Confirm the delete.
What gets deleted
- The department itself
- All workflows in the department
- All runs of those workflows, including history
- Scheduled runs tied to those workflows
What does not get deleted
- Users and memberships on the master account
- Workflows you've moved out of the department before deleting
- Activity on other departments
Can I undo this?
No. Deletions are permanent. If you're not sure, move workflows you want to keep to another department first.
