How to delete or archive a workflow run.

There are two ways to get a run off your list, and they are not the same. Archiving keeps it. Deleting takes it away.

Archive

The run still exists. It comes out of your active views but stays in the archived runs reports and in the account history, so the record of what was done and who did it is intact.

This is the right choice almost every time. Use it for runs that are finished, abandoned, or simply old enough to be cluttering the page.

Delete

The run is removed as though it never happened. It disappears from your views and from reporting.

Use it for genuine mistakes: a run started against the wrong workflow, a duplicate, a test. Do not use it for tidying up, because you are throwing away the history along with the run.

Undoing a deletion

Deleting is a soft delete, so it can be undone. Find the run on the Activities page under Reports and restore it from there, with its task history.

Treat that as a way out of a mistake rather than a reason to delete casually.
