Organizing Workflows and Runs with Tags
Manifestly uses tags instead of rigid folder structures. Tags are more flexible because you can apply multiple tags at once and then filter using AND/OR conditional logic.
You can use tags to organize by process, client, department, or any other classification that fits your workflow.
Tags on Workflows
- In a workflow’s settings, you can assign one or more tags.
- Any run created from that workflow will inherit its tags.
Tags on Runs
- You can tag individual runs directly, or simply rely on the tags inherited from their parent workflow.
- Tagging runs is useful when filtering, grouping, or searching for specific runs.
- For convenience, you can apply tags to multiple runs at once from the Runs page.
Webhooks & Tag Changes
Manifestly supports webhooks triggered when tags change. For example:
- When a tag is added or removed from a run
- The webhook fires just like other events in the system
