Collapse sections of a run
A long run is easier to work when you can fold away the parts you are not on. Every section heading in a run has a three-dot menu with the controls for that whole section.
The section menu
Click the three-dot menu on a section heading and you can:
- Collapse or expand the section, hiding its steps from view without changing them.
- Complete every step in the section at once.
- Skip every step in the section at once.
Collapsing
Collapsing is a view control and nothing more. Nothing is completed, skipped or hidden from anybody else, and the steps still count towards the run's progress. Use it to get a fifty-step run down to the part you are actually working on.
Completing or skipping a whole section
These two are not view controls. They act on every step in the section, and they are the fastest way to deal with a phase that either was all done offline or does not apply to this run at all.
Take the same care you would take with any bulk action, and check which section's menu you have open before clicking. Skipping records that the steps were deliberately not done, which is different from completing them. See Can I skip a step, but still complete the run?.
