SAML based SSO

SAML-based Single Sign-On (SSO)

Manifestly provides a SAML-based SSO option for your team to sign in. This SSO works with all credentialing options, including Azure AD, Okta, OneLogin, Auth0, and Google SSO.

Getting started with SAML SSO

You can set up SAML SSO with your chosen identity provider (IdP). In this guide, we use Azure AD as the example.

Configure your IdP (Azure AD example)

  1. Follow the directions provided by your IdP to configure SAML and obtain the necessary data (for Azure AD: Entity ID, SSO URL, and X.509 certificate).
  2. In Manifestly, go to Settings > SSO to begin adding the SAML data.
  3. Enter the SAML data from Azure AD and choose your custom sign-in page.

Test and activate SSO

Test the configuration before activation

  1. Save the configuration without setting it to Active to create a test configuration.
  2. Open the custom sign-in page and verify that SSO is working as expected.

Activate SSO

  1. When you are ready, set the SSO option to Active.
  2. Note: Once SSO is active, users can no longer sign in to Manifestly using their email and password.

  • The SAML-based SSO option works with all credentialing providers, including Azure AD, Okta, OneLogin, Auth0, and Google SSO.
