When you would like to skip a step, but have the system recognize that the task is done, you can utilize the skip feature. This is often done when the step is not applicable for this particular checklist run.
Here’s a quick video showing how it’s done. Notice that by skipping the step, it is checked off, but the system recognizes it was skipped, different than being completed.
