There are times when you want to add steps to a checklist run, but you don’t want those steps to be added to the workflow.
Within the checklist run, use the settings cog to show the more actions menu. From their you can add and remove steps from this specific checklist run without those changes.
You can also update the workflow and have those changes update the in-progress checklists.
